Dr. David Stuckler, MPH, PhD, speaks on the economics of global health. He is co-author of THE BODY ECONOMIC: Why Austerity Kills.
Stuckler is a Senior Research Leader at Oxford University; after completing his Master's in Public Health at Yale University and PhD at Cambridge University, he became a professor in political economy at Harvard University. He also currently holds research posts at London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine, Chatham House and the Public Health Foundation of India.
He has written over 90 peer-reviewed scientific articles on the economics of global health. His work has been featured in on the front page of The New York Times and the Economist as well as on BBC World Service, National Public Radio, Al Jazeera, CNN Television News, New Scientist and Scientific American.
